Taming Wild Thoughts is a short book of just 51 pages, consisting of a 1963 paper, ‘The Grid’, plus two untitled papers. ‘The Grid’ has been extracted from the original book and is published here to be together with Elements of Psycho-Analysis, and Transformations, in which the Grid features extensively. Accordingly the parts of the original Foreword to Taming Wild Thoughts by Parthenope Bion Talamo have been divided between this volume and Volume X, in which the untitled transcriptions from May 1977 now appear.
