These four 2-hour discussions at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Brentwood, Los Angeles, took place during April 1976, at intervals of one week. The group, numbering approximately twenty-five, was composed of psychiatric residents, psychotherapists, and psychologists. This edited version represents about half the original transcription of recordings of the four meetings; repetitive passages have been deleted, together with material already published.
