The predominant feeling is one of fear, resentment, anger, obstinacy, laziness, ‘can't be bothered’, jealousy, envy, resentment, sulks, ungraciousness – Achilles sulking in his tent. But not being able to get out is peculiar to all ages: and unwelcome at all. All states have their unwelcome features. In all, then, one is a prey to envy.
