As the new Chair of the Division 39 Awards Committee, I m delighted to share this announcement with our members.
The Committee would like to thank Dennis Debiak for his excellent contributions as the former Chair of the Committee, and wishes him the best in his presidential term. We are very pleased to announce the recipients of the 2016 Division 39 Awards.
MARY-JOAN GERSON
Leadership Award
This award is given to a person who has dedicated him/herself to the advancement of psychoanalysis and/or by service to Division 39.
DAVID RAMIREZ
Diversity Award
This award recognizes an individual who has made important contributions in expanding knowledge and advancing issues of diversity within psychoanalytic psychology.
