I Want You to Begin by reading an extract from The Man Made of Rain, by the Irish poet, Brendan Kennelly (1998), where he describes visions he saw after undergoing major heart surgery:
“There are those who'd say you're not normal”,said the man made of rain.‘Follow me. Better still, walk with me’.He lifted the pain from melike you'd lift a cap from your head.I walked with him.Always the colours. Now, the pictures.A hill.
