My two-year tenure on the Board is coming to an end this fall. Though it has been a demanding task, it has been satisfying and exciting to see the organization meet new challenges and continue to grow. We are the largest and most vital chapter in Division 39. The energy and enthusiasm that members bring to developing existing programs and creating new programs are awe inspiring and a source of envy to other chapters. Because we are financially healthy, we are able to underwrite new programs, encouraging new committees and committee members to launch adventurous new courses and events.
We continue to be financially sound. The new method of membership renewals is creating a stability in our cash flow, and our Mutual Funds have finally taken a turn for the better. We were able to add $10,000 to our reserve this year, which now amounts to approximately $35,000.
We start the new year with a healthy budget, with many enthusiastic Board members, committee chairs, and members ready to climb new mountains. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of all this.
