The Associate Member Committee is in the process of acquiring new, motivated members to join the already dynamic committee. Kristin Felch, Stephen Sabin, and myself have been working together for nearly a year to develop an exciting outreach program to training sites in the Bay Area. Our goal is to create meaningful relationships with individuals directly involved in the training process. As these relationships grow, we will encourage training directors and supervisors to learn more about how psychoanalytic theory and technique can be applied to their training site. This, in turn, will create intrigue and openness for trainees to explore theory and incorporate psychoanalytic technique into their work with patients. We are excited and dedicated to this endeavor.
