This past year has been exciting and challenging as NCSPP continues to grow and evolve as an organization. Despite the shaky economic environment, we had a very successful year in terms of programming and outreach, and finished our 2010-2011 fiscal year in the black. Our programming included:
Intensive Study Groups (ISGs) in San Francisco and the East Bay on erotics and intimacies, and in the South Bay on new ways of looking at reverie;
Our Annual Event on gender and sexuality with Muriel Dimon and Virginia Goldner, which attracted large numbers of students and clinicians outside traditional analytic circles; and
The ever-popular Annual Couples Therapy Event with Francis Grier on psychotic and depressives processes in couples.
We also had several successful outreach events for members. Some of the highlights included:
Spring New Members Dinner
Fall Social and Networking Event
Spring and Fall Movie Nights
