As of the time of this writing, we (Kirsten Beuthin, Alicia Lawson, Mary Beth Trail, and I) are looking forward to our first event together as a committee: The Fall Social & Networking Event. Designed to enable NCSPP members (as well our fellow analytically oriented clinicians) to meet and get to know one another better, the Fall Social & Networking Event is the first in what we hope will become a series of biannual occasions for our membership. It will take place at the Samovar Tea House in Hayes Valley, and clinicians who attend can submit their business cards into a drawing for the opportunity to win a number of self-care prizes, including free massages, health-coaching sessions, discounts on acupuncture, and more. We're optimistic that this will be a great opportunity for everyone to socialize in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Next on the calendar for us? The ever-popular NCSPP Annual Holiday Party! This event is always a great time to catch up with our friends and colleagues and to meet new acquaintances as well. If you've never attended, please know that many members consider this to be a highlight of their year with NCSPP. My committee members and I are currently in the process of brainstorming a number of ways to make this year's holiday party unique, and we're having fun thinking about small touches that will improve upon this perennial favorite.
I want to sincerely thank my fellow committee members for all of their hard work and dedication so far. You have made this work enjoyable, and I appreciate your efforts tremendously. I look forward to planning many successful events with you.
