NCSPP completed our fiscal year with a net profit of about $900. This profit is less than was anticipated due to a $10,000 administrative investment in redesigning our brochures and sending our next year's brochure to the printers within this fiscal year. We also had residual expenses from putting our journal, fort da, onto electronic publishing (PEP).
Increased income from the annual lecture, the couple's therapy event, the scientific meetings, and our pre-license events all helped offset the burden the ISGs have historically borne.
This year we more than met our expectations regarding membership numbers, resulting in substantial income from dues. Our online newsletter, Impulse, which supports and serves the larger Northern California analytic community, again brought in considerable monies from advertisements and helped bulk up the coffers in these economically lean times.

We plan to make a considerable investment in our website and electronic communications in an attempt to continue to cut costs and become more efficient and greener. This should enable our community to have easier, more convenient ways to renew memberships, register and pay for courses, make donations, and access membership directories online, as well as sign up for the consultation benefit we now offer members.
NCSPP has been able to maintain a healthy financial reserve, totaling approximately $136,750. A few years ago we moved most of our reserves into conservative mutual funds and money market accounts, which allowed the organization to weather the current economic downturn with minimal losses.
Thanks to the hard work of our current board, committee members, and our invaluable administrative assistant, Michele McGuinness, and to the visionary efforts of
