NCSPP completed our fiscal year with a net profit of $752. We were expecting to break even this year so this small profit was an exciting demonstration of the strength and resiliency of the organization. We had a successful year.
Our investments did well, giving us $67,000 in reserves. With the new website launched, we are still working out the kinks and have projects planned. We may continue to liquidate monies as needed to cover some web design costs.
Fiscally successful events this year were the East Bay and San Francisco Intensive Study Group's introductory event featuring radio broadcaster Michael Krasney in conversation with Maureen Murphy and Peter Goldberg, the Couple Psychotherapy event featuring Candis Cousins and Stanely Ruszcynski, and the Annual Lecture featuring Anne Alvarez. Also, the editorial committee hosted a successful Gala celebration, which helped cover the increased production and distribution costs of fort da. Be sure to read the committee reports to get the details of those fantastic events.
Committees worked hard to stay within the budget that included substantial cuts in expenses and conservative estimates of income. We will continue with a similar budget for the next fiscal year with some adjustments. We are also exploring some exciting ideas to generate new sources of income for NCSPP.
Thank you to the current board of directors, committee members, and our amazing administrator/registrar, Michele McGuinness, for their hard work and dedication to the organization. A special thanks to our members for their continued support.
