NCSPP completed our fiscal year with a net loss of $25,765, largely attributed to continued work on our website that has, in the past year, focused on increased functionality. The performance of NCSPP's investments gave us $67,140 in reserves, which we will draw from to pay for the final phase of our web design.
Many of our committees did a great job coming in under budget for expenses this year. Fiscally successful events included the East Bay and the San Francisco Intensive Study Groups, the Couple Psychotherapy event, the Annual Lecture and the Spring Scientific Meeting, the Salon, and many of the courses run by the Educational Committee. Our new members of the Community Events Committee have already been active in creating new, exciting opportunities for our psychoanalytic community. Additionally, the formation of the Community Mental Health Committee means that NCSPP will reach out to and collaborate with a broader population of practitioners, teachers, and scholars.
