“I want you to close your eyes,” she says. It's the first session after an August vacation. The patient, Clara, lies on the couch; the analyst, Dr. F., sits behind her, out of sight.
“I want you to close your eyes,” she says.
“What will you do?” He asks.
“I think I'll go for a walk.”
“Where will you go?”
“I don't know; just walk around.” Then she says, “I know, I'll look in your computer.”
“What would you look for?”
“I'll do a search,” she says.
“For Clara,” he says.
“But I won't like what I find.”
