The relationships we build in this field are invaluable with regards to collaboration, consultation, referrals, and friendship. For that reason, it is the sincere goal of the Community Events Committee (CEC) to facilitate community building in this organization as best we can. The CEC is committed to creating events that promote networking and community building amongst NCSPP members and those who are interested in its mission and programs.
In August the CEC held a friends-and-family picnic gathering at the Off-the-Grid picnic in Presidio Park, and in September we sponsored a structured networking event to provide a chance to catch up with longtime friends and colleagues, or forge new connections with fellow psychotherapists. The evening featured a talk by therapist and business coach, Annie Schuessler.
