There was no one quite like Tom, our friend and fellow editor. He, perhaps more than the rest of us, kept in mind the courage and effort it takes to work on an essay or a poem and submit it to a journal. He found something of value in every piece of writing that came our way. He encouraged the rest of us to appreciate the unconventional and to make a place in the journal for writers who had never published before. His acceptance of human frailty and sense of humor about his own limitations illuminated his work as an editor, painter, poet, and psychoanalyst. This issue is dedicated to him.
Cheers
Hoping to have
Just enough
Time
To play
My part
However brief
In my
Tiny life.
