In the last two years our scientific activity has been manyfold. In the first place, Johannes Cremerius (Freiburg im Breisgau) and Sergio Bordi (Rome) have continued to give their monthly clinical seminars with our members. We have also organized several conferences, in Milan and Turin, centered around themes such as psychoanalysis and society, psychoanalysis and literature, psychotherapy of the psychoses and the theoretical and clinical problems posed by hysteria. Kaechele and the new method elaborated by the Italian colleague A. Seganti (a member of the SPI, one of the two Italian IPA societies). The group works with taped clinical material (which does not necessarily belong to members of the group) and is very interested in getting an opportunity to discuss its activities with any IFPS group working in the same direction.
