From issue no 1 1999 International Forum of Psychoanalysis has a new cover. We hope it will be an enjoyable invitation for the reader to open the journal and take part of the contents, the high standard of which we are constantly striving to improve.
Some changes have been introduced in the organization of the Editorial Board from this issue. Christer Sjödin has joined Jan Stensson as Editor-in-Chief. Maarit Arppo, Finland, and Carlo Bonomi, Italy, have joined us as new Assistant Editors. Per-Magnus Johansson Gothenburg, Sweden and Eduardo Prado de Oliveira, Paris, France, together with Christopher Bollas, form a team of Corresponding Editors. With these new members in the Editorial Board our resources to produce a significant and interesting psychoanalytic journal have been considerably strengthened.
Tord Nystedt who has been our Book Review Editor since 1994, leaves the Editorial Board. We thank him for his contributions to the development of this journal. Maarit Arppo is taking over the office as Book Review Editor together with Ulla-Britt Parment.
