I reflect on the impact of technological innovations on psychoanalytic treatment and patients. The relevance of adapting the psychoanalytic framework to current socio-psycho-cultural changes is discussed. Our starting point is the observation that this framework is already mutating as it expands to include the various components of cyberspace. To illustrate this, I use the example of teleconsultations as one of the first manifestations of technology in psychoanalytic sessions, and of artificial intelligence (AI) as the most debatable at present. I explain the concepts that make up cyberculture (cyberspace, hybridization, cyborg), to better understand their particularities and transformational potential. I also explore the influence of technological elements on psychic functioning, drawing on reports from cyberpsychology. A new symptomatology is observed in this context, and sheds light on the challenges faced by patients who have constructed themselves within the digital environment. Their reception within the psychoanalytical framework would require certain adaptations. I present them through the example of teleconsultations and AI. Thus, within the psychoanalytical framework, two axes are brought into tension. The first focuses on the impact of new technologies on this framework. The second stresses the need to preserve the particularities of psychoanalytic treatment in the face of these changes.
