Psycho-analysts will enjoy this short book by a botanist. The author brings together her views on scientific method and aim, language in its relation to non-verbal thought, and the relation between the scientist's unconscious ideas and his scientific findings. Her bibliography is long and many new sources of earlier work may be suggested, especially to those whose interest is ego psychology.
