This is a well-written textbook for psychologists engaged in work with neurotic and psychotic patients. Unlike some other books of its kind, it does not unduly stress the rôle of the psychologist as a psychotherapist. There are excellent chapters on projection tests and the psychology of the interview. The book should prove of considerable help to clinical psychologists.
