This book discusses the logical status of concepts used to report mental acts, that is, people's thoughts and feelings. It is, therefore, a book about logic and not about psychology, which will doubtless get the review it deserves in the appropriate journals. Mr. Geach writes with clarity and precision, and meta-psychologists might do well to read him, in order to become aware of the kind of criticism their work must eventually be adequate to meet.
