Abstract

This interesting article is based upon a letter which Freud wrote to the playwright Schnitzler in 1922. Freud regarded Schnitzler as his double because he had encountered in the latter's writing the same

themes as he had been preoccupied with in his psycho-analytical research. The life histories of the two men show many similarities.
