Dear Prof. Strotzka,
Thank you very much for your letter of 8th April, which I received on my return from our recent administrative meetings and Symposium.
I very much regret that your contribution to the Evaluation Session of the Helsinki Congress was omitted from the Report published in the IPA Bulletin, IJPA 63/1. On checking, it becomes obvious that the tape-recording of this session was started late and there is no indication that there were any speakers previous to Dr Santamaria.
Mrs Auletta, the IPA's Executive Secretary, asks me to pass on to you her apologies also. All the files and recordings from the Congress were mislaid by Finnair, and did not reach London until the end of September. Because of the copy deadline of the IJPA on September 30, she did not carry out her usual checks of recordings with notes, in her haste to get the material to the Journal, and this was the only reason for the omission.
I am passing your letter, and a copy of this reply, to Mr Hayley, Editor of the IJPA. If there is any difficulty about publication of them in the IJPA, I shall, of course, be happy to publish them in the IPA Newsletter.
Yours sincerely,
