On the central theme of 'Traumatic Stress Reactions – Prevention, Coping and Treatment' a Second European Conference on Traumatic Stress will be held. The Conference will take place in Noordwijkerhout, the Netherlands, 23–27 September 1990.
Many people working in the field of scientific research and in medical, mental health or social assistance, are interested in information about the consequences of violence and disasters. Experts on different subjects, like the effects of war, torture, sexual violence, hostage-taking, but also traffic disasters etcetera, have turned out to profit from exchanging their specific knowledge.
This Second European Conference aims at contributing to this exchange.
