A reader has written pointing out that the date of death should have been 7 June not 9. Also Khan's marriage to Svetlana Beriosova should be 1959–1974 not 1957–1964. His paper on the 'Cumulative trauma' was, of course, published in 1963 not 1953. (Int. J. Psychoanal., 73: 155–9.)
