The present Joint Editors complete their first term of office on February 29th 2012.
In line with the new arrangements for the appointment of Editors by the College of the International Journal of Psychoanalysis1, applications are now invited for the posts of Editor in Chief of the Journal or Regional Editor for North America, Latin America, Europe or the UK from any member of the International Psychoanalytic Association who has the requisite qualifications and would like to be considered.
All posts have a five-year term, renewable for a maximum of a further five years if this is a new appointment. All existing editors are eligible for reappointment.

The closing date for all applications is July 25th, 2011.
Short lists will be announced no later than August 25th. Interviews of the short-listed candidates will be held in London during September 2011.
