It is an honour to have been elected by the College for another term of office as editor-in-chief, and a pleasure that the Associate Editors, Jorge Canestri, Alessandra Lemma, Lucy LaFarge and Georg Bruns have accepted to also serve another term. José Carlos Calich, who has served for 5 years as IJP's Latin American Editor, is stepping down to take up another commitment. I thank him very warmly for his contribution which has been greatly enriched by his impressive knowledge of many different thinkers. In his place as Latin American Regional Editor, we welcome Beatriz de Leon Bernardi. Beatriz is a Uruguayan Psychoanalyst, Member and Training Analyst of the Uruguayan Psychoanalytic Association (APU). She is Past President of the APU and a former Editor of the Uruguayan Journal of Psychoanalysis. She is an Editorial Board Member of IJP and is also a Past Representative for Latin America on the International Psychoanalytical Association Board. Beatriz has published extensively in many different languages, especially on the patient-analyst interaction, the analyst's contribution to the analytic process and the notion of countertransference. She received the Award of the Latin-American Psychoanalytical Federation (FEPAL) in 1992 and the Training Today Award in 2009. In addition, our team is joined by Gráinne Lucey who has come from teaching philosophy and feminist theory at the University of Malta and replaces Catherine Humble as Executive Editor. We also wish to thank Catherine for her excellent work and we congratulate her on her academic appointment.
