This panel featured interesting overlaps between the contributions of the three authors, as well as evocative links between the clinic and references to theory. There was a complementarity between the types of patients presented, which resulted in an integrated and multi-faceted description of the area of narcissism/perversion and the ranges of intimacy in this context.
The panel's meeting opened with Antonio Andreoli's work (The Uncanny Intimacy at the End of Analysis'), which was read by Anna Ferruta (Italian Psychoanalytic Society), as the author was unable to attend in person.
