Narcissism is spectrally associated with autistic barriers. The literature does not question the effect of the conversion of the narcisstic libido into the object libido on autistic barriers, demonstrated by the vicissitudes of narcissism at the Oedipal stage, which is based on the relationship with the father. Killing the prehistoric narcissistic father and establishing a dead father inaugurates a tertiary process in a child's mind, affects the formation of the ego and contributes to the development of the skin-ego that establishes the child's relationship with objects and society. Using the detailed clinical treatment of rather autistic a 7-year-old boy, the author demonstrates how an analytical process, which involves a benevolent father who allows for the urge to kill but forbids killing, thereby giving his son a life, permits the reduction of the unconscious identification with a violent father, reduces the use of narcissistic violence as the secondary skin-ego and increases the potential for object relations. The dynamics concentrate on the father's gaze. This study underscores the value of Freud's theory of the Oedipus complex in autistic-narcissistic dynamics.
