We present four theoretical fictions produced from a clinical case aimed at throwing light on aspects of the traumatization process and the defenses put into action, and some characteristics of the attempts to elaborate the experience. Gavrilo was in a car accident resulting in physical and psychic losses: he was paralyzed and saw the death of his grandmother, while trapped in the wreckage. However, he had experienced losses even before the accident. The first fiction presents Gavrilo's analysis and his elaborative movements in constructing the traumatic moment, uniting fictional creations with elements of objective reality. The second sustains that the accidental trauma and its elaboration carries the risk of the emergence of a primary trauma through the effects of irradiation. The resulting defenses produce an effect of resistance to the symbolization of the current experience. The third relates the traumas’ symbolization processes with perception and fantasy, and includes the traumas’ dual elaboration hypothesis. The fourth analyzes the traumatic based on the uncanny and the representability process. We emphasize the psychoanalytic experience's aesthetic dimension, in which there is no hierarchy between gesture, image and word in the construction of the memory and grief of the trauma.
