Abstract
In part one I undertake an confrontation of Merleau-Ponty's philosophy - as one of the sources of the psychoanalytic term of the field - with the notion of “Szene” which was developed in the German psychoanalytic discusssion. Language barriers are met with between the Enlish and the German language discussion, and especially between the philosophical and psychoanalytic viewpoint.
