Drawing on psychoanalytic observation, the author is attracted by the phenomena involving Repetition and is taken by his curiosity to dive in the return and rhythm that are intrinsically related to it in its most diverse manifestations on a sort of Eternal Return. Sustained by Freud's concept of Repetition Compulsion and by Bion's expansion [… as] a spark of human curiosity, finds in Repetition the possibility of the rhythmic continent of transformations. Resorting from Art in order to express the psychoanalytic experiences in the analysis room, accompanied by Bion himself, that this would be an approaching resource when facing very primitive mental states. The curiosity that comprises need (physical survival), desire (psychic survival), and fear (risks of physical or psychic death), can lead above all to growth or to blockage. In light of the power and obstinacy observed in the Repetitions, the author invites us to reflect on what happens when the rhythm given by the cycles of nature - external and internal, and by the cycles of life is broken. The text leads us to realize that only the incarnation of tenacity in the analyst can face the power of such phenomena.
