This communication aims to reflect on the transmission of clinical practices based on psychoanalytic theories and methods in care institutions. It questions the issues raised by this process in the French social, scientific and economic context and attempts to identify the factors favoring, within a team, without outside intervention, the implementation of a work of reflection on the practices instituted and their evolution.
The hypothesis supported is that any process of transmission of psychoanalytic practices in institutions, supposes to think the institution as an object of psychic reality grappling with elements of change, potentially persecuting. The possibility of working on these internal objects raises the question of institutional capacity and relies on a thought about the function of institutional spaces, and not on the practices themselves.
Three points are more particularly developed, clarified by several clinical vignettes : the modes of organization of structures and their impact on the desired changes, the history of the structure and its intergenerational transmission, the place of third parties in the work of common history building process and of transmission. They define objects collectively elaborated as much as a method allowing to favor the evolution and the creativity of psychoanalytic practices in institutions.
