The analytical process of the training analysis presents specific problems and difficulties to the analyst. When the patient becomes a candidate, the institutional group actualises different modalities of the psychism of both patient and analyst in the intrapsychic and interpsychic spaces. The author discusses the problems of neutrality, abstinence, and anonymity of the analyst when he/she faces two simultaneous tasks of psychoanalytical treatment and of psychoanalytical education. The issues of internal boundaries of the analyst are discussed, as well as the potentially triangulation that institutions can play on the narcissism of the analyst and of the candidate.
