In this article, we are interested in the psychic logics that support the efficiency of the psychoanalytic group psychotherapy for psychotic patients. The working hypothesis that we propose is that the subject who participates in the group setting would have the possibility of reconstructing his psychic groupality, by creating links between the representations proposed in an inter-subjective and group level from the mobilization of his own internal groups. The expectation of this study is to identify the functions of the group that are articulated through the mediation, which allows a revival of the psychic processes for these patients. The challenge of mediated methods is to bring to the light the figuration of unsymbolised primitive experiences. This research is established, on the practice within care institutions that take care of hospitalized patients. At the beginning we present the different theories about group dynamics which influence our approach. We continue with the presentation of our setting and our methodology. We present some clinical vignettes of a group therapy with the Photolanguage method with young adults. The photograph as mediating object contributes to the elaboration process-es. Finally, we conclude with the evolution of our patients and the results of this research.
