In this article, we aim to explore the phenomenon of wandering at the boundary between the inside and the outside, at the margin of what is included and what is excluded. To do so, we will draw on several dichotomies, notably the symbolic vs. the non-symbolic, and the scopic dimension (through the pairing of seeing/being seen). The goal is to outline a new clinical field: a clinic of wandering understood as a clinic of the edge, of the border, at the slit of the eye and beyond the urban, a clinic capable of inscribing a livable margin, a space where desire can be (re)formulated.
