Dear Professor,
Many thanks for your card and for the two offprints. They all reached me safely yesterday. I am especially pleased to read what you say in your card about your two warriors. I hope they will see the winter through in similar good health and spirits. I am going to read the books right away, and I am making a note of them for the bibliographical section of I. Bloch's journal;78 he had not yet heard of them. I have spoken with him a few times; he shows a certain interest in psycho-analysis. The very diversity between the Psycho-Analytic method and his method permits a far-reaching rapprochement between them. But I find it unfortunate that W. Stekel should have chosen Bloch's journal to show off in (see III 6/7 ‘On the Sexual Traumas of Adults’). One reads it with painful embarrassment. Would it be agreeable to you if the central section of my little book on the Ucs (‘Psycho-sexuality’) were to appear there? But it would not be for some time.
