[Postmark: Göttingen, 20.i.19]
Dear Professor,
Just a word of good tidings: have just received safely the fourth volume of the Sammlung kleiner Schriften zur Neurosenlehre.111 A thousand thanks! I hope that your son is somewhat nearer you by now, and will be able to finish his recuperation at home. Thank you too for the card with your New Year greetings. I reciprocate them from my heart for you and yours.
Yours,
Lou Andreas
This volume contained ‘From the History of an Infantile Neurosis’ ( S.E. XVII), which was new to Lou A.-S.
