[Vienna] XIX, Hohe Warte 46
Dear Lou
And so this by no means longed-for day brings at least one good thing with it, namely the sight of dear and long-absent handwriting. And actually with good news. Shall we soon learn something of the work which meant as much to you as the spring? With us things are as might be expected in these mad times. Even Anna is depressed at moments. I have a beautiful view of the garden from my window, but it is cold and rainy and I am smoking a cigar which is really forbidden me.
Cordially yours,
Freud
