The staff of the Hampstead Child-Therapy Clinic are happy to announce the appearance in 1978 of the Bulletin of the Hampstead Clinic. The Clinic was founded by Anna Freud over a quarter of a century ago and is recognized as the foremost child psychoanalytic training and research centre in the world. A vast number of hitherto unpublished clinical reports and other material of psychoanalytic interest has been accumulated and now appears for the first time.
The new Bulletin will give an ongoing picture of all aspects of the past, present and future work of the Clinic, and will provide valuable source material for all workers in the field of psychoanalytic therapy and in allied professions. Special emphasis will be placed on clinical topics and on the integration of clinical observations with psychoanalytic theory; discussions with Anna Freud and other senior staff members will be included and the clinical application of such instruments as the Diagnostic Profile and the Hampstead Index will be documented. Volume 1 Part 1 is scheduled for early 1978, and Volume 1 will include papers and reports on a variety of topics, including original contributions by Anna Freud.
The Bulletin of the Hampstead Clinic will appear four times a year. The price for the yearly volume of four issues is US $20.00 (or £10·00 for U.K. addresses only). Subscriptions should be sent (with cheque or money order) to:
