Dr Joseph Sandler's ten-year term of office as Editor of the International Journal and Review of Psycho-Analysis ended with the issue of the fourth Parts of both these publications in 1978. It has been a decade of remarkable development with the building up of efficient procedures covering the editorial functions and the maintenance of high standards of scholarship. In 1974 Dr Sandler founded the Review which ranks among the leading psychoanalytical journals.
