In this paper we tried to make an assessment of the evaluation process of the supervisor.
After a description of the procedure and the attitude towards supervision in the Dutch Psychoanalytic Society discussing its pros and cons, we review the evaluations between 1976–1979, comprising 1229 evaluation forms.
