On the basis of clinical material, and starting from certain theoretical elements, an attempt is made to systematize the analyst's task during the session, taking into account the scope of the interpretation and the functioning of the ego.
The advance of psychoanalytical research makes it possible to place the analyst's intuition in the context of discovery, definitely separating it from the context of justification in which the interpretation is formulated.
