This review is written by night at 33,000 feet as I return from a congress between two disciplines (Law and Psychiatry), in a province of Canada (Quebec) where bilingual public signs are being replaced by those in one language. The detachment of height afforded me the perspective of distance and the fitting moment (Kairos) in which to engage with this book. It not only grapples with the dynamics between two worlds (Psychoanalysis and Literature), but it also conveys the implicit question as to whether it will eventually be possible to find one language to replace inter-disciplinary interpretation.
