DEAR MR TUCKETT,
In writing about the situation in the Netherlands, the following sentence appears in the text published in Vol. 16, Part 1: 'The Hague Branch suffered more as the Katans went underground and many others went to the USA'. Dr L. D. de Jonge of Amsterdam has drawn my attention to the fact that the statement could not apply to the Dutch analysts. I am anxious to correct the false impression created by the inadvertent omission of a whole sentence in which I was drawing a comparison between the Dutch and the German situation. I have also received a correction from Dr C. Aslan of Buenos Aires who writes: 'it was E. Pichon Riviere who joined the small group of analysts around Garma who founded the Argentinian P.S. and not C. Cárcamo who arrived in September 1939 from Paris'.
Yours sincerely,
