There is a typographical error on p. 573 of Volume 26, Issue 4. The quotation beginning in the fourth line of that page should read (corrected word underlined):
As (1949, pp. 105-106) noted in an Outline of Psychoanalysis, he sought to create “a psychical apparatus extended in space, appropriately constructed, developed by the exigencies of life, which gives rise to the phenomena of consciousness only at one point and under certain conditions.”
