The paper, stemming from clinical challenges in therapeutic encounters with challenging courses of development, introduces a psychoanalytic perspective on the multi-dimensional archaic proto-body-scheme. It offers a novel way of mapping the inter-relatedness between certain innate psychophysical functions. This affinity creates of a scheme which I term »the body-container«. This scheme that serves as a precondition for developing a sense of self, matures unconsciously within the primal dyad with no need for therapeutic intervention. In a-typical and unorganized psychophysical development a specific technical perspective is described.
