With the following case report we are pleased to introduce a new feature—the continuing case report of a current analysis. There is a strongly felt need for access to clinical data in all their many forms, but perhaps to none more so than the data of an ongoing analysis. The following presentation should be read as an introduction to a case with future developments to be reported at intervals of 1-2 years. Dr. Wright has been kind enough to supply us with the clinical presentation. It is an exceptionally clear and readable example of the cases presented for discussion at the affiliated staff conferences of the New York Psychoanalytic Institute's Treatment Center.
