On this theme, supervision and the teaching of interpretation, the morning session of the Symposium ended. The afternoon session was comprised of the supervision in detail by Dr. Jacob Arlow of an analytic patient presented by Dr. Henry Smith. We will publish the afternoon session in its entirety in a future issue, to be devoted to the topic “The Teaching and Learning of Clinical Psychoanalysis.” We hope readers will join us for the continuation of this most interesting discourse. Meanwhile, in the following pages, we are pleased to present further clinical material illustrative of the clinical importance of unconscious fantasy.
