As regular readers will know, the last issue of the Journal was devoted to work with children with an illness or disability. The positive feedback this venture received has prompted the editorial board to make plans for another issue dedicated to a particular theme: work with children under five.

The deadline for this special issue is January 1992, for publication in the summer of 1992. Please submit papers in the usual way (see inside front cover for notes to contributors). We hope that the choosing of a theme will continue to prompt a high quality of submissions and become a regular feature of the Journal.
